msconductWow, what a day. The relief is incredible and I am beyond happy. Keep laughing like a loon.
The title of this post refers to the feeling that this disgusting regime seems to have been going on since the beginning of time. Because I couldn't bear the disappointment if it went the other way, up till now I haven't even thought about the fact that as well as getting rid of the tangerine clown, we also get rid of the toxic crowd around him. Jared. Ivanka. Jr. Bill Barr. Betsy DeVos. Et al. GONE. ALL OF THEM!
And although I'm concerned about how many people saw fit to vote for Trump, I'm also happy that those people are crying into their beer today as their dreams of fascism slip away. An especial middle finger up to the woman I saw at a Trump rally who was calling Kamala Harris racial epithets with a sneer of hatred on her face. I hope she's having an epically bad day.
And on top of all that? We'll always have Four Seasons Total Landscaping. If there's a better metaphor for the glittering Trump presidency...
