Today I have entertained a succession of gentleman callers.

First there was the electricity man. Then there was the ant man. Then there was the drain unblocker.

God, my life is glamorous.

If only I'd thought of getting the electricity man to electrocute the ants. But then I wouldn't have needed the ant man, and it was the ant man who told me about the blocked drain. I don't think the electricity man would have noticed the blocked drain. Cause and effect, cause and effect.
