I am so sorry that this happened. I could imagine the fear, confusion, anger, frustration, and worry you must have gone through. I'm truly glad that your mother is okay, though. Few things in this world scare me. Covid is one of them, and yes, I've had it. I wouldn't wish it on anyone decent. My symptoms were light, other than losing my entire sense of smell, which more than made up for it, then taking months for it to return completely back to normal. My mother, like yours, is high risk, and to be honest, I didn't think she would make it. That was in March of 2021. Anyway, best wishes for the two of you. What I don't understand is, don't medical staff have to be tested for Covid?
