However, the worse the Covid, the more likely you are to get long Covid. What they're not sure about yet is just how high the risk is. Estimates have ranged between 1 in 10 and 5 in 10. It also may turn out to be several different diseases under the one umbrella, as people have quite a wide range of different symptoms, in the respiratory system, the brain, the cardiovascular system and heart, the kidneys, the gut, the liver, and the skin.
