I wonder sometimes what would have happened to this country over the last two years if we had not had a government that took this approach. And it makes me furious that other people's governments are hanging their citizens out to dry. As the Omicron tidal wave comes towards us, please keep being careful and have a happy and safe holiday.

What annoys me is the people who refuse to get vaccinated, and the fact that this is actually allowed in workplaces, particularly those which deal with the public. It seems that the people in New Zealand have brains and use them, which is very refreshing!

Covid-wise we have some idiots too, but fortunately fewer than in many places. Our Covid response has been science-led, and that's the way the vast majority of us like it.
