msconductThanks to a moribund network card at a substation, I've had no internet other than on my phone for the last two days. Sulk. I can't run an IT empire from my phone, guys! Not to mention torture my LJ friends with more holiday photos.
However, I have at least made some use of my spare time by getting vaxxed. No, not that one. Ha! As if! That's probably months away yet. But I have at least had my flu jab.
It certainly brought back memories. In March last year, I managed to get one the day before lockdown. Of course, we had no idea then of what was to come. I might as well have not bothered, as the number of flu cases in New Zealand last year was effectively zero. We might be the only country where mortality rates *fell* in 2020. Who knows what will happen this year, but I wanted to get the flu jab just in case and also make sure it was clear of the Covid one. Whenever that is.
