Why The Tide Table Is My Friend
I have two passports, and between them they allow me residency in almost thirty countries. And occasionally I take advantage of that, but mostly I choose to stay here in Auckland. Because only in Auckland can I on a summer weekday zip out for a lunchtime swim here:

And when I get there, not only do I not get nibbled by sharks or get poisoned by stonefish as my Aussie cousins do, I have the beach, and the Pacific, pretty much to myself.
Going back to work with wet hair and a trace of sand between my toes: priceless.
