Leak soup
I'm not sure what the ideal way is to start the Friday night of a three-day public holiday weekend. However, I think I can safely conclude that it's not developing a major water leak. Especially when that leak is in the exact same place you had a slightly less major water leak fixed a month ago.
11 pm at the start of a holiday weekend? I don't think there's a piece of paper big enough to accommodate the zeros on that plumber's bill. Besides, I really want the guy who was supposed to have fixed it last time to have another shot and see if he can get it right this time. So we've filled up various receptacles including the bath and turned the water off.
No biggie. I lived without water most of the time for three months while my bathroom was being renovated. Three days will be a snap.
