Good riddance
At last the evil bastard who murdered 51 defenceless people in our mosques has been sentenced. He has received New Zealand’s first ever sentence of life without parole and he richly deserves it.
In New Zealand we don’t ever speak his name. We try not to come across his name and put it out of our minds if we do. He wanted fame and publicity and we will not give him that. Instead we choose to put the victims and their families at the front of our attention. They’re the ones who matter here.
This repulsive psychopath came to this country specifically to commit these murders. He wanted to spread hate and division. Instead, he has only brought us closer. Kia kaha katoa.
