SINGLE FIGURES!!!
Eight new cases today in New Zealand. Eight! It's been trending down for quite a while, but that's definitely a milestone. Deaths now at eleven: that's increased as sadly the virus got into an aged care home with a lot of very frail people in it:(. I'm very sad for them as it's such an awful way to go, but it could have been so many, many more if we hadn't done this right. Now to find out if we've stopped it before community transmission: Queenstown random testing has found zero cases thus far, so that's a good sign. Fingers crossed.
